Presentation

Founded in 1961 by Claude Lévi-Strauss, Pierre Gourou, and Émile Benveniste, now edited by  Grégory Delaplace and et Isabel Yaya McKenzie, the journal L’Homme, revue française d’anthropologie collects multiple research themes in anthropology in its broadest sense, while promoting interdisciplinary approaches. With an international audience, this journal publishes original research in French and in English. It combines theoretical texts, critical essays, and ethnographic studies in an effort to understand both what is near and far away, to report on new findings, to reevaluate the traditional domains of anthropology, and to present new methods of investigating social and cultural facts.
